Hiya,I'm leading a study on agile project management tools which aims at providing a decision support tool to choose the right software depending on the needs.I don't believe the perfect tool which will work for everybody in any situation exists, "there is no silver bullet". Moreover, each team has not the same level of agility and don't need to focus on the same things, for some it'll be the tracking of defects, for an other one there is a lack of knowledge on the methodology, etc.For all this…See More

Apologies for delay in reply! we have used various tools and so far the simplest and best is undoubtedly pivotaltracker, we tried this after recommendations from Jeff Sutherland at the ACCU conference in Oxford this year.

Try it on a couple of sprints and see how simple and easy it is to use, we found it clearly helps us focus on feature delivery without falling into a micromanaging workflow so we tend to define DONE for a feature and simply burndown/up at feature level, no need to break down to tasks.
