Agile or Lean outside of IT?

Does anyone have any experience or know of any examples where agile or lean principles and practices have been used outside of IT.Since the principles are pretty generic and Scrum and Lean/Kanban do not have anything specifically to do with software, I am really curious about whether this has been tried, and whether or not it was tried and failed.From my perspective, agile is a great way of managing software development, but I am wondering whether the management elements of agile stand any…See More

Agile Project Management - Extending PMBOK

Hi everyone. Those that know me know I'm a big fan of agile methods, and Scrum in particular although not necessarily exclusively.
